There are many ways to do polished stone not only on dominoes but also on glossy paper as well as other non-porous surfaces. These dominoes make great pins or magnets or can be used as embellishments for cards. They would also make great Christmas gifts. Give this a try and post your results here. Have fun.

INSTRUCTIONS:
These dominoes do not need to be prepared in any way, like bleaching or sanding. Lay the domino on your craft sheet, dot side down.
Select the colors of Sharpie markers you want and scribble them onto the domino. 1-3 colors are plenty. Cover most of the domino but bits of it can be left uncolored.
Attach the felt to the applicator or the Velcroed piece of wood and add 1-3 drops of the blending solution or the alcohol.
Working quickly, dab the applicator with the Krylon leafing pen 1-3 times and start tapping the applicator onto the domino. Too many dabs and it will cause the colors to get muddy. Give it a minute and watch as the colors begin spreading out.
If you want to spread the colors a bit more, reapply the alcohol or blending solution to the applicator and dab this onto the domino again quickly. This will lighten up the colors considerably. Let dry.
If using the Adirondack inks, select 3 different colors and apply 1 thin strip of each color to a piece of felt that has been attached to the applicator. Next, dab the leafing pen onto the applicator three times. Add 1 or 2 drops of blending solution to the applicator just before the dabbing process is begun and quickly dab the applicator onto the domino. Let dry.
Using a piece of regular Scotch tape, form it into a ?T? shape* and apply the handle to your domino on the side with the dots.
Ink up the stamp using the StazOn inkpad. I bring the domino to the inked stamp using the handle so I can get better control of what part of the stamp I want on the domino. When stamped, remove the handle and let the domino dry or heat set it with your heat tool.
You can add the Krylon leafing pen to the edges of the domino to finish off the edges or apply Redliner tape and then tiny beads or glitter.
